wang6610 from CN-DOS found that when drbio.sys is packed with pack101, VPC(5.2 and 2007) shows only the dots and never boot with the banners.

This sounds like DRBIO hangs immediately upon start, perhaps in the
init routine. Alas, I cannot run VPC to test this myself.

It doesn't boot (show only dots) in PCem Generic Turbo XT config also. You may try with it. (but PCem dies after showing the banner with non-packed drbio.sys, seems to be a PCem bug)
