Ok, but how the BIOS reports them ? AFAIK there is INT13 function 08,
which I say is buggy in this case, and will never report more than
1024 cylinders anyway, and there is the BIOS table pointed to by INT41
(INT46 for the second HD) vector. I think Partinfo used the first
method, because of the values it returned. How does EDR-DOS get the
CHS info it uses ?
My second point is whether EDR-DOS could not just assume the values
in the partition table or BPB are correct without checking against
INT13 fn 08 results (if it does so).
