Exactly - and then that someone would have to make it publicly
available, so we can get it. :-)

There is another possibility. Let's say they charge a lot of money for
DR LX, then only big companies would be interested in it. It is
highly unlikely that a company that has paid a lot of money for DR LX
would give it away for free, so a high price would allow them to
protect their investment without violating the GPL.
