So, here is the dilema, because of lack of interest in the DOS, as we know it, their is no interest to update it to modern equipment standards. In a few more years the new equipment that will be available will probably not support any form of standalone DOS. And so the divide gets even larger; and the replacemrt for your existing equipment gets very expensive because nobody will be supplying the replacements.

We have had plenty of discussion here as to how to get edrdos to use the modern equipment, and two years later, approximately, the state of xxxDOS is at the same spot, more or less. We have become old relics, pretty soon it will be just a curiousity.

So the big question now is, how do you attract more people to use xxxDOS? With more programmers come more modern software, and drivers, and in reality that is what is really needed, more drivers.
