Neither I deserve such inadvertent and obstrusive remarks as he made. If he knew the file which has the AUDIO API documentation it would have been easy for him to point it out. This is valid for you also. I'm sure you have never read any SNAP AUDIO API specification.

Another solution which works for real mode too is the use of debugging watch points, but I wouldn't say this is an elegant solution either.

I agree the English term 'conflicting' is not well chosen and my sentence has another sense that I proposed. I'm interested to know at what level do you intend to implement the port trapping, as an extension to an EMM which has port virtualization API, or how?
