The DR-DOS/OpenDOS Enhancement Project

Well, naturally, I can offer only limited help in this case, but I
know that there is a blind user on the OpenDOS mailing list whose
name is Jude Dashiell. I have included the link to the mailing list
below.

Regarding the compatibility of (E)DR-DOS, most software that was
written for MS-DOS should also work in DR-DOS. However, using
software that uses speech output in Multitasking mode requires a
special driver called BLAST.VXD or something which allows the
software to access a Soundblaster card's hardware directly.

I should also add that the compatibility of the TaskManager with
modern hardware is very poor.
