I remember somebody in the forum mentioned problems booting EDR-DOS
from CD before. I think he said it worked on Pentium II and Pentium
IV machines but not on Pentium III. This could be the same problem.

I presume that the floppy disk image you used does not have any
problems, so it might be some specialty in the floppy disk emulation
of the BIOS that causes this problem.

Well, the "Supported version..." message is displayed in the routine
hard_init, so that is how far it definetely gets. BTW, floppy_init
is next.

Now I would like to know if it hangs before or after loading
DRDOS.SYS. You can check this by removing DRDOS.SYS from the CD.
