After working on how to use the patch tool right (no docs!) and getting the source tree all patched up and ready to go, I realized that the version of MASM (4.01) that I had wouldn't cut it. I located a copy of 6.11, and installed it. I then made sure the make files all pointed to the proper places, fired up DOSBox (0.73), which I'm using to develop this ATM, and tried to make DRBIO.SYS. It churned through all of the MASM portions with ease, and then hung after printing the rasm_sh "banner" (for lack of a better word). I cannot figure out any way around this, and I'm not familiar with RASM. Does RASM require DR-DOS as an OS to function properly? Are there any further docs for compiling this other than that on the Download page here? Thanks for your assistance.
