Hi.
here it is my problem: I have an old Amstrad PC1512 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_1512) (two 5.25" floppy drives and no hard drive) equipped with its 5,25" system disk: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DOS_Plus and with some old 5.25" user data floppys. I'm interested in having those data back (i.e. ported in any new modern PC). With no other hardware 5.25" floppy drive available somewhere else, my idea would be to upgrade somehow my DOS+ to have some 'network' capabilities (e.g. FTP or INTERLINK e INTERSVR whichever the most simple and esay to obtain). Is there any idea ? (I could even copy by hand any binary utility (if you provide any) able to just open a null-modem cable connection and then flush the bit stream) Thanks anyhow. |
